Nové Sady tramline

Nové Sady tramline – on 20 September 2013 the South Line was fully commissioned and is now the main traffic artery leading to Šantovka Gallery. This newly constructed connecting line will be used not only by tram passengers but also drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. There is also a new cycle path connected with the original cycle path and pedestrian pavements approaching the new tram stop V kotlině.
On 29 November 2013 the representatives of the Olomouc City Hall and DPMO (Olomouc Transport Authority) commissioned the new tramline. The launch was attended by the Ambassador of Switzerland H.E. Mr. Markus-Alexander ANTONIETTI and the Archbishop of Olomouc Mons. Jan Graubner.
